Defiant Celtic's manager insists he is not worried about dismissal but Celtic fans display anger following defeat.

Wilfried Nancy insisted he did not fear the sack, claiming, “The team is really close to a turnaround,” even after sliding worryingly close to the chopping block with a convincing setback against their arch-rivals.

“The standard we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. That happened. I could not speak so positively if it was not the case. That is the reason, regarding outcomes, I noted it's a repeating pattern. For that reason I feel a change is coming to things turning around. Right now: the fine margins.”

“I saw many, many good things that we did, once more. The issue now it’s about consistency. My message would be different if I didn't believe it. Therefore I firmly believe we will manage to get back on track.”

Opposition Reaction Stance

Danny Röhl played down talk of a championship push even after what seemed like a huge result. “One match at a time, and we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The faith in the group is immense.”
