The Seattle Seahawks engineered a stunning comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in extra time, clinching their place in the postseason.

Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad triumphed by a single point at home, notching their fifth consecutive victory.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff berth earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks secured their place to the play-offs after a 24-month hiatus.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their division's race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four standing.

Game Highlights

Quarterback Sam Darnold threw two picks but recovered to deliver two touchdown passes, including the tying TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The visitors held a 13-7 lead at the break before Kenneth Walker III broke free for a long touchdown run for the home side.

Although Puka Nacua raced in for his another touchdown in overtime, Jaxon Smith-Njigba answered in kind to set up the game-winning score.
