The Red Devils Set to Sign Germany Forward Lea Schüller away from the Bavarian Giants

Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing for prolific German forward Lea Schüller on a permanent transfer from the Frauen-Bundesliga champions.

The forward, with six months remaining on her contract, has been a prolific goal-getter for both club and country. She has netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 caps for her country. This signing is viewed as a major signing for the Women’s Super League side.

Her exit from Munich was expected after she was seen holding back emotions while thanking the club's supporters after a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently.

Reports in December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was set to lose one of its leading forwards. According to multiple sources, all the paperwork for the move are now finalised.

The 28-year-old’s signing should represent a significant boost to United’s forward line. She has been remarkably reliable with her finishing in Germany’s top flight.
